?? Hi, I'm Emerson-and I'm so glad someone stopped for me. I'm a Corso/Boxer mix, estimated to be 5-7 years old, and my shelter story began on a hot day in September 2026. When an animal control officer stopped to pick me up, I was hungry, thirsty, and needed a safe place to rest. I couldn't say thank you in words, but that ride meant getting the help I needed. Since then, the shelter staff have been there for me in every way-caring for my medical, physical, and emotional needs. Having food, water, shelter, and people looking out for me has made such a difference. Now, I'm hoping for the next part of my story: a home and a family of my own. A comfortable place to sleep, time together, and the security of knowing I belong-that sounds pretty wonderful to this gal. ?? My puppy days may be behind me, but I'm hoping some of my very best days are still ahead. Please ask the shelter staff about meeting me, my current care needs, and the kind of home where I could thrive. An officer stopped to help me when I needed it most. Maybe you'll be the one who stops by to meet me-and decides we belong together. ??
