Hi, I'm Bono!
I'm a 3-year-old Wirehaired Terrier weighing about 27 pounds. My story is a little complicated. I was put outside by my family, and when Animal Control was called, I was labeled as aggressive. The truth is, I was scared, confused, and trying to protect the only place I knew.
Since arriving at the shelter, I've been settling in much better. I'm learning that the people here are here to help me, and I'm showing them the sweet, loyal dog underneath all that caution.
I may need a little time to get comfortable with someone new, but once I trust you, I can be a very devoted companion. I'm looking for a patient adopter who will give me the chance to feel safe, settle in, and show just how special I can be.
